Let’s keep it simple, conservative vs fashionable shoes.

If you are planning to work at a conservative company as in, having to wear conservative shoes, you have to wear a simple and comfortable shoes.  Shoes cannot be outrageous bc your colleague will give that “look” and gossip.  

If you are planning to interview for any fashion company or stylists, you have to wear cute,trendy comfortable shoes (or not-oh-so comfortable shoes). 

At the end, if you wear the right shoes, then the hiring person will take you seriously.

Throw Back Thursday

Happy thursday!! Weekend is almost here! As for me, I work everyday,so there is no break for me.

Last December,my friends and I went to go see the famous hilarious comedian named, Fluffy.  Can you guess his real name? It was the best laughter ever!

Every women should own at least one trench coat bc it never goes out of season and style.  Trench coat can go from work, casual hang out, nice date to wanting to look cute and cozy.  

 

You see all these well-known bloggers, celebrities and models posing so well.  Well, for me I need to work on my pose, more sophisticated and magazine look.  

You can buy the trench coat at Macy’s (always have amazing sales).  I bought the ankle boots at Macy’s, and they are by Vince Camuto (bought it on sale).  It was on sale for $65, and original price was $125.

My friends said that I look like Mr. Inspector Gadget, lol.  

Internship

Last year I interned for a fashion warehouse rental in downtown Los Angeles.  I learned so much within the 3 months.  I would see celebrities coming in to borrow clothes, and would see stylists as well. In order to work in the fashion industry, you guys must intern no matter what from the bottom.  I got to learn how the borrowing clothes work, organizing clothes by colors, picking up clothes from the departments, selling clothes,picking clothes for the clients, photoshoots, cleaning and I can go on.  

One day, my manager got a call from this celebrity stylist and described a particular style.  My manager told me the description, and I started pulling out bunch of cool, edgy Gwen Stefani meets Rhianna, rocker, yet feminine.  The celebrity stylist comes in the room, looked through the clothes that I picked out for her client.  She took few of the clothes with her, so she can show it to her client.  Fast forward, I go to google and typed out her name and the award show.  Cheeckkk it out below!  I am so glad Dev liked the dress.  I liked and hoping she would like this dress bc it is feminine, edgy, colors are amazing,leather material, the back of the dress is dope.  

I wish I was styling for people, celebrities or anybody.  I really have good taste =)
